Meet the Team

Jennifer Reimann

Jennifer Reimann is a German Physiotherapist who has been in clinical practice for over 20 years.  She graduated in September 2001 from EFFH Fresenius in Idstein Germany with a State Exam.

Jennifer’s first clinical role was in Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinics (now knows as Helios Clinics) in Wiesbaden, Germany. From 2001 to 2005 her clinical focus was around Cardiology, Oncology, ICU, Stroke ICU and early rehabilitation; she further worked with COPD and Lung Emphysema Patients.

From 2005 Jennifer began to specialise in Orthopedics and Rehabilitation following trauma surgery, focussing on Neurology, chronic pain management, training therapy and prevention.  Manual Therapy (Maitland Concept) became a cornerstone of Jennifer’s clinical approach.

From 2010 Jennifer joined the multi-disciplinary team at BZfAR in Bonn, Germany; an ambulant Rehabilitation Center. The team here consisted of Athletic and Gymnastic trainers, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists and Doctors.

In 2012 Jennifer was an in-house Physiotherapist for the German TV Show Ballett, accompanying the crew on tour with Florian Silbereisen and other German celebrities and Entertainers.

2013 saw Jennifer move to Cairo, Egypt, where she took a position at the German Center in As Salam Hospital, Maadi.  Since 2015 she has been a freelance Physiotherapist, providing high-quality domiciliary care for VIP clients.

Jennifer is an Arabic speaker and a passionate equestrian; in her spare time she trains horses and competes in dressage and showjumping.

Philip Robinson

Philip Robinson is a British Speech and Language Therapist, qualifying from the University of Sheffield (UK) in 2012. Since this time, Philip has worked in clinical practise with a varied paediatric and adult caseload.

Philip is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Association of Speech and Language Therapists (ASLTIP). He holds a Bachelors Degree (BA) in Linguistics and a Masters Degree (MMedSci) in Clinical Communication Studies.

He runs clinics from his Harley Street clinic in London, UK, and oversees a team of Speech and Language Therapists.  He has worked alongside Headway, a brain injury charity, Northwick Park Hospital rehabilitation unit, and the Child and Family Practise in Bloomsbury, London.  Most recently he is a published author in A Guide to Managing Atypical Communication in Healthcare, providing a chapter on stammering.

Since 2016 Philip has provided assessment and therapy for numerous VIP clients on overseas assignments, addressing the communication needs of those involved, writing therapy programmes and managing teams to deliver therapy overseas.

Kate Cropper

Kate Cropper is a Neurologic Music Therapist (NMT) and our Psychological Therapies Lead. She qualified as a HCPC registered music therapist in 2003, and completed the neurologic music therapy training in 2017.

Kate has worked clinically with adults and children in a range of settings and specialises in neurorehabilitation and trauma work.

Kate has worked clinically for over 20 years and has proven experience of using music techniques to facilitate safe emotional and psychological self-expression; encouraging and supporting  communication and interaction where clients are unable to do this effectively due to injury, illness or disability. 

Kate is experienced in using NMT techniques with clients to rehabilitate motor movement, speech/language and cognitive function. She works independently with clients but also integrates NMT in an interdisciplinary context working alongside other therapists towards shared client goals.

Kate has significant experience in assessment and treatment planning, and also serves as a clinical supervisor and expert witness.

Prof. Dr. Matthias Maschke

Professor Dr Matthias Maschke is a German Consultant Neurologist, currently serving as Head of Department of Neurology & Neurophysiology at the Hospital of the Barmherzigen Brüder Trier in Mainz.

Since qualifying from the University of Gottingen as a Professor and Medical Doctor in 1995, Dr Maschke has gone on to develop an extensive number of specializations and experience across clinical Kinesiology, Neuroradiology and Psychiatry, and is currently Head of Neurology and Neurophysiology at Bruederkrankenhaus Trier. Since 1997, Matthias has been a member of the German Society of Neurology among other scientific organizations, such as the European Academy of Neurology and is an Associate Junior Member of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN).

Dr Maschke has an EEG- Certification and an EMG- Certification from the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology with specializations in Neurology, through the Medical Chamber Nordrhein, and Geriatric Medicine, through online GCP Training. He has gained a Doppler- Ultrasound qualification from the German Society of Clinical Neurophysiology, with a board-certified specialization in Neurological Intensive Care and EVOP.

Dr Maschke has also been a long-standing member of clinical research regarding cerebellar physiology, strokes, movement disorders and Neuroaids with immense experience as co- and principal investigator within stroke, dystonia and MS studies.

Marika Lomax

Marika Lomax is a HCPC-registered and CertMRCSLT Speech and Language Therapist. Since earning her degree from the University of Manchester in 2023, Marika has gained experience across various fields of Speech and Language Therapy.

Recently, she has focused on developing her expertise in supporting the communication and swallowing needs of adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, and/or Autism.

Marika is trained in Talking Mats, certified as an intensive interaction practitioner, and is fully dysphagia competent as of January 2025, enabling her to assess and treat individuals with swallowing difficulties, such as those resulting from stroke, physical disabilities, degenerative diseases, or traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Over the past four years, Marika has also worked closely with Philip Robinson serving as both an SLTA and SLT. In this role, she has specialized in the treatment of speech sound disorders, providing care to both children and adults.

Susannah Makram

Naturopathic Nutrition Specialist and Osteopath with over 15 years experience in practice. Susannah delivers care and treatment that is safe, practical, clinical and effective.

Working across continents, alongside world renowned specialists of the medical community, a Chelsea Awards nominee and founder of the Functional Healthcare Group in the UK, she is also a national public speaker with published articles on health optimisation and rehabilitation.

Daisy Haining

Daisy provides administrative support to the rehab team, and is currently a third-year undergraduate student at King’s College London, studying a BA in English Language and Linguistics.

Daisy assists the team by preparing resources required to deliver appropriate therapy and ensuring all data is handled sensitively and with care. She hopes to continue her studies by going on to complete a masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
